I got a purple ipod chromatic for christmas and I'm trying to download songs to it on my friends Mac, but its an old version and I can't download idownload itunes 8 for mactunes 8.0. Is there a way to get around that and still download music onto it?
I do not think there's another way around it, because it DOES need 8.0 [ download itunes 8 for macApparently, it's very picky ]
You can for sure find another way to download the 8.0 iTunes as to whatever the problem is.
