try doing this :-
reboot your system
follow this link and get the latest version 9
save it to a new folder on your C:\ drive
then inscannot download adobe readertall it from there

you have got some free space on your drive haven't you ???
Your anti-virus or other security program is probably blocking Adobe's download manager (the program it installs to install other Adobe products).
There are other pdf readers, though. Adobe Reader is bloacannot download adobe readertware, it runs on your computer whether you use it or not.
you need to make sure that its running on the version u are like 64 bit or 32 bit u also need to make sure your firewall is not blocking anything the application is trying to do and make sure your system is up to date
